Don Bosco Technical school Sihanoukville was founded in 1999 (1997) to provide technical training for young people especially those who are from poor or vulnerable background. Our school offer various programs and skills: a technical or a hotel formation.
Don Bosco Sihanoukville is also the headquarter of “Don Bosco Children Fund of Cambodia (DBCF)” which aim to provide scholarships for younger children who are orphans and/or abandoned to be able to go back to school.
The Don Bosco Technical School Sihanoukville is a community of Salesians, lay mission partners, youth and children, living the spirit and method of St. John Bosco for a new civilization of love. The community of Sihanoukville is composed by Father Eugene (Rector), Brother Martin Tan Tai (Dean of the school and hotel director), Brother Roberto Panetto (Economer and Director of “Don Bosco Children Fund of Cambodia”), Brother Bao Paul and Brother Prak Ieth John Bosco.
The students from the technical school can learn in electrical, secretary or mechanical sections. The school is in relation with many organizations that donate a lot of technical devices. Thanks to this high quality material, the students can improve their skills and directly put their theory lessons into practice. At the end of the school, which lasts 2 years, students immediately find work in big company in Cambodia and can provide for their livelihood while also helping their families.
