Description of Agreements Between the Don Bosco Foundation of Cambodia and the Royal Government of CambodiaSince 1991 DBFC has done different agreements with the Royal Goverment of Cambodia. The most important are : Memorandum of Understanding between Don Bosco Foundation of Cambodia and the Royal Government of Cambodia signed in Phnom Penh on 26th of May, 2000 by John Visser, Director of DBFC and Chhoeung Chamroeun, Secretary of State. In this document is stated that the Royal Goverment of Cambodia has expressed a desire that Don Bosco Foundation of Cambodia will engage exclusively in humanitarian activities for social welfare and public benefit in cooperation with the Royal Government. It is said also that the Don Bosco Foundation of Cambodia, with its international headquarters at Italy and main office at Phnom Penh, is not a non-profit, humanitarian organization as described in the accompanying organizational documents, mission statements and program activities of Don Bosco Foundation of Cambodia. It is said that Don Bosco Foundation of Cambodia agrees to comply with the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Cambodia. It follows 26 articles and annexes about the agreement. The Project Agreement between the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training of the Kingdom of Cambodia and Don Bosco Foundation of Cambodia. The general scope of this agreement is to cooperate in the development, the implementation and the evaluation of the project within the Cambodian Government's policy guidelines. The Project start date is 1rst June 2006 and will continue until 1rst June 2009. It was signed by Vong Sauth, Minister of Labor and Vocational Training and Leonard Ochoa, Deputy Country Representative. Agreement between the Ministry of Education of Cambodia and the Don Bosco Foundation of Cambodia signed on March 26th 1992 by Em Somol. Representative of Ministry of Education and John Visser, Representative of Don Bosco Foundation of Cambodia. In this Agreement it is said that in order to help the Cambodian youth that are poor and have no source of support, to have an appropriate Technical Training for future integration in the society by finding a job, the Ministry of Education of the State of Cambodia and the Bangkok based Salesian Society of Don Bosco (DON BOSCO) with its headquarters in Rome, Italy, have agreed to the present statements. The Project Agreement between the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and Don Bosco Foundation of Cambodia in the program named Don Bosco Children Fund to assist children (6-12 years) who are unable to go to school because of poverty of the family helping them to access primary education. The Agreement was signed on August 26, 2002 by Pok Than, Secretary of State and John Visser, Country Representative. The Project Agreement between the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and Don Bosco Foundation of Cambodia in the program named Technical and Vocational Schools to provide a professional technical training to the most vulnerable members of society, poor Cambodian youth, orphans, enabling the instructors to develop by professionally through upgrading seminars and supporting enrollment on the B.S, course at the National Technical Training Institute (NTTI) and to assist in the economic growth of the Cambodian economy by increasing the supply of skilled labor. DBFC is a Non-For-Profit organization. There is a strict process of funding for our organization. Nobody can pose as a member of the DBFC to collect funds in its name, at least such person or organization has the official approval of the Council of the organization. You can donate to support any program of the DBFC. It entitles you to the following rights:
Donations to DBFC does not entitled to the following: 1. You do not become a member of the DBFC if you donate. 2. You do not have especial rights to the works, programs or projects if you donate. 3. If you sponsor children and youth through DBFC or DBCF, the relations between you and the benefit subjects are made through DBFC. Odd plans with your benefit would lead to suspend your support in order to protect the benefit subject. 4. You do not have the right to claim private data from benefit subjects, especially children. By fundings DBFC can continue its commitment to the development of Cambodia in the education and formation of its children, youth and women from disadvantaged sectors of the country, especially those from rural areas. However, we encourage your support by contracting the services generated in our workshops or offices.
