Phnom Penh – To commemorate the 30th anniversary of Don Bosco presence in Cambodia, the Salesians will move an image of Don Bosco throughout the Kingdom for one year starting Don Bosco Phnom Penh in February.

The image is an old photo of 2001 in Don Bosco Poipet with the iconical image of Don Bosco statue protecting three Cambodian children. Around the statue, the first children of Poipet, Br. Roberto, some volunteers and some benefactors. The background is empty of the actual buildings and sport structures to mean the beginnings of Don Bosco in the country. 

The image will be blessed on January 29 during the official opening ceremony of the 30th anniversary. Then it will be enthroned in special altar in Don Bosco Phnom Penh. At the end of February, it will move to Don Bosco Battambang and every month will visit a school community.
