SES German representative visits Don Bosco Cambodia
Kep City. Mrs. Margret Motejl, the International Project Department Coordinator for Southeast Asia of the Senior Experten Service (SES) of Germany, visited three Don Bosco educative centers in Cambodia this month: Don Bosco Phnom Penh, Don Bosco Sihanoukville and Don Bosco Kep. The purpose was to discuss about the continuity of cooperation between the Don Bosco projects and SES. During the past two decades, many German senior experts have participated in the development of Don Bosco Cambodia in different fields: from educative training of teachers to the setting of programs to guarantee sustainability. Near 10 thousand senior pensioners belong to the German SES and provide their services to companies, organizations, governments and groups around the world as a contribution to development. The pensioners focus especially in the training of local people on projects that would benefit a country in some way. SES confirms the will to continue in their support to the Don Bosco Foundation of Cambodia projects, especially in training and updating personnel. Don Bosco educates more than 6 thousand children and youth per year, from basic to technical education with the ideal to break the circles of poverty and make a contribution to the integral development of Cambodia.
